Hi, my name is Elizabeth Silva!
I am a bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker for Clear Hope Counseling and Wellness Center practicing out of the Pasadena office location. I am currently a Pre-Professional under the supervision of Michele Frances Purvin, LCSW-S, LCDC. I have experience working with adolescents in a juvenile setting, adults in a mental health setting, veterans, and immigrant populations. I work with individuals of various ages who need help with managing anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, difficult life changes, adjustments, school issues, anger issues, grief and loss, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and substance use among others.
I use various treatment modalities such as a person-centered therapy approach, mindful meditation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, motivational interviewing, empowerment techniques, restorative justice all of which are geared to the individual need of the person.
I would be honored to walk this therapeutic and healing journey with you. Through my work I hope to build the skills needed to empower individuals and help to better manage and cope with various stressors. My goal is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where growth can happen.
