Biography

Hello! My name is Angela Mosley, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) with a strong foundation in psychology and mental health counseling. I hold a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science-Psychology from the
University of Houston-Clear Lake, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University.
Currently, I serve as a Psychology Professor at San Jacinto College, a role I’ve proudly held for over 24 years. My professional and academic background has allowed me to
support individuals through various stages of life, especially young adults and college
students navigating complex transitions.
I am certified in Compassion Fatigue—also known as secondary or vicarious
trauma—and have supported individuals experiencing symptoms such as chronic
stress, sleep disturbances, and emotional exhaustion. My areas of expertise also
include Couple’s Counseling in addition to College & Career Counseling.
I am passionate about serving my community through both my professional work and
volunteer efforts. I am an active member of my church and have volunteered at the
Houston Area Women’s Center, where I worked closely with survivors of sexual assault.
I bring empathy, experience, and commitment to every session and look forward to helping you on your mental health journey.
