Erica was born and raised in the Pasadena community and takes pride in being able to give back to the place she grew up in. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education from Emmanuel College, and her Master’s of Education in School Counseling with a certification in Clinical & Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. She is currently an elementary School Counselor in Baytown and is an LPC-A under the supervision of Larneka Lavalais, LPC-S.



When we experience trauma or severe life stressors, it’s common to feel as though our life is unraveling and falling apart. My passion is to bring healing and hope to children, teens, and adults by helping guide you from your past, present, and hope for your future by becoming a better you through finding your strengths and learning how to problem solve.



My greatest passion is working with children, pre-teens, teens, and young adults as I have worked in education for 15 years, currently a Certified School Counselor for 5.5 years, worked in a long-term treatment facility for teens, and also worked at a Battered Women’s Shelter as the Children’s Case Manager all to help, guide & support those who have experienced trauma, abuse, divorce/separation, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, aggression, behavior concerns, school issues, and grief/loss amongst so many more concerns. I have had 10 + years of working with the special needs populations and their families through Special Olympics.



I want to help serve my clients to promote positive, effective, and long-lasting life changes. I believe growth & change can happen within a warm, inviting, nonjudgmental & supportive relationship. That is what I hope to bring when I walk alongside you in this journey as you gain awareness & insight, which will enable you to find clarity and hope.
