Hello!

My name is Alejandra Hernandez, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC Associate), Licensed #102876, and QMHP-CS. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston Clear Lake. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have built skills in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In addition to my academic and clinical training, I have gained valuable experience working on the administrative side of a counseling office. These experiences have helped me better understand the client experience and strengthened my ability to provide supportive and informed care as clients navigate the counseling process.

My goal is to create a supportive space where you can show up as you are and feel understood throughout your unique journey. I work collaboratively with you to help you build awareness, develop coping skills, and identify steps toward growth.

As an LPC Associate, I continue to receive clinical supervision and support under the supervision of Ana Valenzuela-Feliz, LPC-S, NCC, LCDC, CTRP-C.
