Hi there! My name is Clare Budke, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I was led to become a counselor after embarking on a personal journey in counseling. I spent 10 years in the middle school classroom, and have a knack for helping adolescents. However, I work well with teens, young adults, those in middle age, and those later in life. I have personal and professional experience with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, trauma, anxiety, depression, academic struggles, interpersonal conflicts, and attachment issues.


My goal as a therapist is to meet you where you are. You will find from our first session that I want you to feel comfortable and safe to explore whatever it is that brings you to therapy. My approach is person-centered, and I will incorporate aspects of CBT, DBT, EFT, narrative therapy, and other modalities that suit you best.


I am LGBTQ+ affirming (actively supporting the rights, needs, and identities of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community), and I strive to create a safe space for those struggling with their sexual identity and/or orientation to express themselves and find ways to live authentically.
