Zoë Whitmire is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas (License # 84419) and is supervised by Karen Haynes, PhD, LPC-S (License # 67528). Zoë is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alabama, and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Northwestern University.

 

Zoë has experience working with adolescents and adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, life changes and adjustments, stress, grief and loss, trauma, substance use, and more. She applies an eclectic approach to counseling and provides a unique, individualized experience tailored to each client. She often implements aspects of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindful meditation with clients. Zoë is passionate about working with teenagers and young adults looking to improve their quality of life and the quality of their relationships.
