Biography

Paige is a qualified mental health professional as a behavior support specialist specializing in the Skillstreaming & PAYA life skills curriculum created by Arnold Goldstein and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) formulated by Dr. Karyn Purvis. I have personal and professional experience with the special needs population for seven years combined. I Graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2020 with a B.S. in Psychology. I am a graduate student at Abilene Christian University for the COAMFTE-accredited online Marriage and Family Therapy Program.

I decided to become a Marriage and Family Therapist because of my family. I saw how my parents helped others by opening their home and hearts to needy people. Through this, I saw the most impactful way to create change is through family. As a mental health professional, you provide hope to many, and that hope can create change that can transcend through generations and communities.

My expected graduation date is Summer 2024 with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. In this internship, my Clearhope site supervisor is Ana Valenzuela LPC-S, LCDC, NCC, and my clinical supervisor is Dr. Sally Eisen Miller, Ph.D., LCSW-ACSW-ACP, LMFT.
I look forward to providing clients with a positive therapeutic experience by implementing a client-centered and empathic approach to systemic therapy at Clearhope Wellness.
