Hello, I am Rosalyn West a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, I am currently being supervised by Nashema Hatten, MA LPC-S. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Lamar University, a Master’s of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University, and a Master’s of Science in Human Science from Prairie View A&M University.

I have 10+ years of experience working with children, adolescence, and adults struggling with their mental health in a variety of settings, including psychiatric facilities, field based; home and community, and virtually. My experience also includes crisis management and intervention.

My eclectic approach to counseling provides a unique, individualized experience tailored to each client. I may implement aspects of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a variety of helpful and lasting techniques and skills.
