Cynthia Silva’s passion’s for working with children led her to become a teacher and later to obtain her Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of St. Thomas. She has devoted the past 13 years to public education, working as a school counselor for the last six years. She is dedicated to educating students about their brain function and coping strategies. Mrs. Silva leans on the founding principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when supporting clients. To further her career, she is currently completing coursework to attain her LPC and aspires to become a grief and play therapist in the future.
