As a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LPC – TX 79880), it gives me joy to COLLABORATE, EDUCATE, AND EMPOWER my clients, so that they will learn and use the tools they need to navigate and live healthier lives. I do this by meeting my clients where they are and helping them to identify where they want to be. We work together as a team to reach their goals. My role is to provide a safe place to process their thoughts, feelings, and behavior and to provide tools for my clients to manage their problems in a healthy and positive way.
I received my education from Prairie View A & M University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and the Family and a Master of Arts in Counseling. Having been in the helping profession for over 25 years, I have worked in Mental and Behavioral Health, Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, Vocational Rehabilitation, Mobile Crisis, Home and Community-Based Behavioral Health, and School-Based Mental Health.
I utilize a holistic approach from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy using a multitude of techniques to help clients reach their fullest potential.
