Hi there!

My name is Marynna Tymme Reyes-McCallister, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate, License #90835, in the state of Texas. Everyone calls me by my middle name -- Tymme (Time). I'm under the supervision of Angela Baehr, M.Ed.,LPC-S. I obtained my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in August 2022 from Lamar University.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, families, and groups. I’ve lead parenting groups within the community. I’ve worked as a Family and Youth Success (FAYS) Therapist, and a Victim of Crime (VOCA) Therapist. Through my roles, I found a passion for working with clients who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, and/or anger. I also have experience working with families who have struggled with their family relationships and communication.

During session, I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients learn about how their thoughts influence their feelings and behaviors. I also use Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Depending on what we are working on in session, I may pull from a variety of treatment modalities. My goal is to ensure that you feel heard, valued, and empowered.

I moved to Texas with my family as a young child, and have spent the majority of my life in the Clear Lake area. I'm a proud furparent to my dog, Sega, and am the oldest of my siblings. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, collecting art supplies, roller skating, listening to music, watching crime and medical shows, and spending time with friends and family.
