As James Baldwin said, “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” I am here to help assist you in facing your stressors and to facilitate change. I can assist by fostering life skills such as problem-solving and goal setting.
I hold a Master’s Degree from the University of Houston – Clear Lake in Professional Counseling.
I am an LPC (license number 72873) as well as an LCDC (license number 13061.)
I have almost twenty years of experience in public education. Most of my experience has come from being a teacher and counselor. I have been a school counselor for about fifteen years.
I am a proud cancer survivor. I am committed to being a life–long learner. I feel that we can all learn from each other. I am also dedicated to my professional growth. I love to grow and expand my knowledge base.
I love to read and travel.
My goal is to partner with my clients and be a redemptive instrument of healing.
