Biography

Hello everyone! My name is Sade Beaulieu and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with over 9 years of experience. I am currently licensed in the following states: Louisiana and Texas. I am currently attending Walden University Ph.D. Counseling and Education and Supervision program. I earned my Master of Rehabilitation Counseling degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center (LSUHSC) and a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation & Disability Studies from Southern University A & M college.

My theoretical orientation is an integrated approach however, I do incorporate a variety of other styles and techniques depending on my client’s individual needs. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. I am committed to working with culturally diverse individuals. I have experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults within the mental health field.

We each come to therapy searching for things like change, understanding, and symptom relief. During our initial intake session, you can expect to share your reasons for coming to therapy, some pertinent historical experiences to help us begin your counseling journey.

I believe counseling can help individuals accept the parts of their lives they are unable to change and focus on the parts they can change. Counseling is a personal journey that will help clients reach their goals, overcome struggles, and empower them to better themselves.

I look forward to us establishing a collaborative relationship.
